Why to Nepal: We started thinking about driving to Nepal as Kanak Moni Dixit - a Nepalese journalist and social worker - came to Bangladesh back in 2002 with his 1973 Volkswagen beetle and we escorted him from Bangladesh border in Burimari Rangpur district and started to think if we could do the same.
How many Volkswagens participated: There were 4 Volkswagens participating in the Rally.

We still miss the
hospitality of Susan,Premji,Kanak Moni, Monoj and many more.
WE ARE GRATEFUL TO YOU ALL.
Condition of Nepali Volkswagens: Well it is so so, Nepali Volkswagen owners are not that much thorough about their cars as Bangladeshi Volkswagen owners are. But they love their Beetles.
